Guided Demo Flow
Six demos in the right order. Click "Open demo" to launch each one in a new tab. Mark each as done to advance. ~12-15 minutes total.
How to use this page: Keep this tab open as your control panel. Each step opens a demo in a new tab — when you're done with that demo, come back here and click "Mark as done." The next step lights up. The narration lines below each step are what to say out loud during the demo. You don't have to memorize anything.
Always open with this. Set the scale before diving into specifics. Hover the four stats to show 330+ cities, 20% of web, 215B threats blocked, 500 Tbps capacity. Hover "210+ AI cities" if AI is on their mind. Let the customer hover a dot in their region — they engage immediately.
Open with:
"Before I show you anything specific, I want to set the scale we're working at.
This is Cloudflare's global network."
While hovering the stats:
"330+ cities. 20% of the web sits behind us — including 80% of the top GenAI companies. 215 billion threats blocked every day. 500 Tbps of capacity. That's the canvas."
Land with (then invite them to play):
"Hover any city on the map — wherever your users are.
You'll see the nearest PoP and what it does."
Now zoom in from the global to the user. Watch Mayah type a URL, get verified via SSO, pass a posture check, and land in the app — in under 5 seconds.
Transition into it:
"Now let me zoom in.
That global network — what does it actually feel like for one of your users?"
Land with:
"Under 5 seconds. Posture check happened invisibly. SSO kicks in on the next app.
This is the daily experience."
Switch to the technical side. Walk through Tab 1 (cloudflared on instance) — the most common pattern. Mention Tabs 2 and 3 exist for whole-VPC and SD-WAN, but don't deep-dive unless they ask.
Transition into it:
"Now let me show you how that's wired up on the
server side."
Say while showing Tab 1:
"Three commands on the box. Outbound port 443 only.
No security group changes, no public IPs, no inbound firewall rules."
Land with:
"Three patterns total — cloudflared for specific apps, Mesh for whole VPCs, Magic WAN for SD-WAN. Pick what fits where you are today."
Back to a business pain. Split-screen animation: admin sends invite → contractor gets email → clicks magic link → OTP → app loads. Under 60 seconds end to end. Auto-expires when the project ends.
Transition into it:
"OK — what about contractors? You mentioned that's one of your pain points."
Land with:
"Sixty seconds.
No AD account. No laptop. No agent. No phone call. When the audit ends, access auto-revokes."
Pick a region (Shanghai is dramatic). Toggle Argo OFF — show the 14-hop public internet zigzag. Toggle ON — show the clean path through the nearest Cloudflare PoP. Read the three-layer explainer.
Transition into it:
"And one more architectural piece — because
'is this actually fast' always comes up."
Land with the kill shot:
"Anycast picks the closest door. Backbone is the highway between the doors. Argo is the GPS that keeps re-checking.
Three layers of routing intelligence the public internet doesn't have."
The closer. Plug in their seat count and current VPN spend, OR hit the Mid-market preset for $50K+ annual savings. Point at the orange savings banner — let it do the talking.
Transition into it:
"I'll close with the question that always comes from finance."
The close:
"If this number is even
close to right — what would your CFO say to a 90-day POC?"
Then
stop talking. Let the silence work. They'll fill it.
🎉 Demo complete
All six demos walked. The customer has seen the network scale, the user experience, the architecture, the contractor flow, the performance story, and the cost.
Now ask the close: "What questions do you have for me?"
And then — be quiet. Let them lead.
Total demo time: 0:00
